FEMALE INTELLIGENCE - Even today, a woman who possesses intellect is regarded as privileged. There is still the subtle assumption that some man must have seen fit to educate and raise her in a conducive environment. What is also corrupt is the male judgment that if a woman is intelligent and *thinks too much* that she is not sexual; not prey! To some extent, they are correct; she is NOT purely an animal waiting to be mounted. She has discovered and used her intellect as a human being.
Women are unique in history because they have been culturally prohibited from the special human discovery of their own intellect. What intelligence they had was used in order to survive men, and they kept it small and timid. But, intelligence is not ladylike --- it is full of excess, and is much, much more than a Quotient! I invite my sisters to take a look at the following list and try to assess what needs less, what needs more, and what work, adjustments, loosening, needs to take place intellectually. Choose what you want to be and express it!

Moral Intelligence is active use of the discerning ability of the mind. It constructs values which it is willing to work for. Because values are exercised in the real world, it knows and is willing to take the consequences of its actions. It is active, not mere 'moralism'. Moralism is passive and is exercised in the private, refined, rarefied relationship of the 'Other' -- often those being preached at. Moral intelligence acts in broad daylight, in the public eye, and asserts its right to be. It is not the stuff of which whores are made. It is boldly confident and participates with courage and vulnerability.
Vital Intelligence cannot be silenced. It has passionate questions and thoughtful answers. It only seeks truth as its prey and will debate diplomatically and incisively with another willing mind. It does not berate; it discriminates with piercing clarity and will not be shut up. Yet still, a woman finds it hard to be vital in her own right without being damned as cold and inhuman.
Restrained Intelligence may at first seem timid and shy to the outside world, and it suits many who believe women should cower. However, the restrained intelligence is cautiously weighing the facts and absorbing impressions from the outside. Issues and facts the timid dare not face are digested and summed. Conclusions are reached and clarity honed. Its only purpose is to know through discernment. It never seeks to please in pursuit of popular acclaim but quietly asserts its right to be and think.
Wild Intelligence is radical in nature and abhors the narrow world. It questions everything and is risky, free and energetic. To upset the status quo makes a woman an outlaw, but the wild intelligence is fearless, for it knows its origins and is anarchistic, throwing off the Known and entering carefree into the Unknown realms of thought and being.
Sexual Intelligence is a human capacity for discerning, manifesting and constructing sexual understanding. It is not measured in the number of orgasms and needs no one to give them to her who has it. It is described not by painted body parts for pornographic purpose, not by numbers of children, nor by addiction to any substance or behavior. It needs the world's entire horizon to act in, since it is dynamic and rational. It would pose not buttocks, but questions, theories and ideas. Sexual intelligence is highly imaginative and inventive and is never sold in the marketplace. It is not a commodity.
Rigorous Intelligence abhors sentimentality. It is passionate and clean, never commits personal treason or betrays its truth. A Morbid Intelligence abhors the cheery sunlight of positive thinking and eternal sweetness and never bribes its way through the day with smiles.
And finally, the Creative Intelligence is a searching, accomplishing Intelligence, wanting respect for itself in its own right. It is not the blind reproductive behavior of an animal and babies will not satisfy it. Neither is it decorative nor merely ornamental. It is powerful and sensual and knows that reality is real. Finally, creative intelligence means taking action in the world, the willful definition of the good and right for its own sake. Not for baubles can it be appeased.
